FOX NEWS, FAIR AND BALANCED...?

Fox news used to be the channel to watch when you needed to find out about the

world, until recently. When I say recently, I'm talking about until president Obama

came to the picture. From the day he started campaigning to now, fox News has not

have a single good thing to say about our new president. Finding any little detail

to criticize him and the democrats. it make you actually ask yourself, if it is

owned by a republican or if they are actually racist. I remember when Bush was

president, making some decision based on personal feelings, or I would say bad

decision, all I used to hear was how many soldiers died in Iraq, but the fact that

the new president doesn't want to make any harsh decision for fights that are

usually not ours, he is being criticize, The fact that they chose Brazil over

Chicago for the Olympic games, Fox made it sound like it was his fault and they

actually sound happy that they chose another country over their own country due to

the fact that it made Obama look bad. What is it about him that scares Fox so much.

Is it his popularity or something else? Because of their reaction and their

criticism of the president, CNN and HLN had become more popular because people

actually think that if two News channel keep on counter attacking Fox and bringing

justification or clarification about what fox Says, then two against one. Fox must

be racist. The question is are they?

  1. Hi Michel, I watch a lot of news coverage in an effort to get the whole story. I also force myself to watch opposing news coverage to give me insights to other's views on any subject matter. Where I am the most confused however, is this notion that having an opposing view is considered racist. When did this start? We elected an African-American man as our president and if you oppose his policy making you are now a racist? Why? According to Dictionary.com a racist is having a "hatred or intolerance of another race or other races." Just because I disagree with President Obama's health reform issues, are you saying I am a racist? I am not basing my opposing view on the color of his skin. My view is based on that fact that he is not addressing the real issue of -- insurance reform and medical industry greed. I must say that after watching Jeremiah Wright's sermon on Youtube, I was shocked at the many inflammatory statements regarding the "white man" and even more shocked that his sermon made little to no mention of God and the lessons of Jesus. Jesus loved and accepted everyone which is demonstrated vividly through the scriptures. And you say FoxNews is a racist? What about a man who exposes his spiritual advisor to the world and through that exposure it is brought to light his (spirtual advisor's) hate for the "white man". Isn't that racist?
